I like to draw inspiration from nature. This lamp is based on the shapes of butterfly cocoons. The layer surrounding the structure of the lamp is translucent, allowing the light to diffuse and making the cocoons glow in a dark space. The use of reclaimed tree wood creates an organic design and reflects the shapes of the cocoons.

Concept

Chrysalis Glow explores the relationship between nature, light and material. Inspired by the protective form of butterfly cocoons, the design transforms organic shapes into a warm ambient light. The translucent outer layer softens the light, while reclaimed tree wood gives the structure its natural character. By combining sustainable materials with biomorphic forms, the lamp celebrates transformation, craftsmanship and the quiet beauty found in nature.
